In Northern NSW we are beginning to wonder whether winter will ever be on its way. With temperatures still in the mid to high 20s the annual pilgrimage north may be delayed this year since the need to chase the warm weather seems almost unnecessary, at least for now.
Nevertheless, the temperatures will cool, and the desire to head north will see many travellers return to their favourite sun-shine state destinations, or perhaps explore somewhere new this year.
Consider the Townsville and North Queensland Drive which combines everything from a tropical city experience and outback history to island and reef experiences.
For those looking for some 4×4 adventures, take a trip to Noosa and do the Great Beach Drive and enjoy 200 kilometres of spectacular beach driving. Or simply travel along the Pacific Coast Way to Cairns to make the most of the sun this winter.
If you haven’t travelled too far beyond Brisbane before June 8th, you can see us in the sunshine state at the Queensland Caravan, Camping and Touring Supershow, which is on from the 8th – 13th June at the Brisbane Showgrounds.

- Have your RV thoroughly serviced before you leave (repairs can be more expensive on the road) – Before you go, book in for your Annual RV Check-Up.
- Consider leaving something for future trips – there’s so much to see and do in our beautiful country. Remember you can always go back!
