This pineapple cake recipe cooked in campfire is simple and tasty.
Ingredients:
2 cups self-rising flour
1 cup sugar
1 tin (440 g ) of crushed pineapple
(rum)
(a can of pineapple rings, dried)
Method:
Mix everything except the rings together. Line the bottom and the sides of a well greased and floured dish with them (cut the pineapple rings in half to line the sides). Place cake tin on a trivet and bake with coals around the base and on a lid for an hour. The fire should be from moderate to hot.
